PHFE WIC held its fifth annual Family Resource fair on October 15, 2026, at the Whitter Narrows Recreation Area in El Monte, California. Over 1,700 people connected with our community partners today and received resources such as child care, lead prevention, nutrition education, and so much more. Families also received items such as toys, diapers, and baby supplies.

Special guests Assemblywoman Blanca Pacheco; Christine Sow, President and CEO of Heluna Health; and Denise Gee, Executive Director of PHFE WIC; spoke in honor of the work WIC does in supporting families and connecting them with essential community resources to promote health and well-being.

Latch On: Celebration of Public Breastfeeding

PHFE WIC hosted its third annual Latch On event, bringing families together to celebrate and honor breastfeeding. A total of 78 amazing moms came together to create a fun and memorable experience, normalizing breastfeeding in our community.

Thank you to all the families who celebrated breastfeeding with us and made this event a success.
