WIC is available to anyone who lives in California and meets the program guidelines regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age, or disability. We welcome newly pregnant individuals, military families, working families, migrant families, fathers, foster parents and legal guardians with eligible children. Families who receive Medi-Cal/Medicaid, CalFresh/SNAP, or CalWorks qualify. WIC is not considered a part of public charge. Participating in the WIC program does not affect the immigration status of anyone currently in the U.S.
