The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program provides healthy foods, nutrition tips, breastfeeding support, health care referrals, and community information.

The WIC Program enrolls:

  • pregnant people,
  • breastfeeding parents for up to one year,
  • non-breastfeeders for up to six months after delivery, and
  • children until age five.

Families with low income or those who receive Medi-Cal, CalWORKs, or CalFresh may qualify for WIC! Fathers, grandparents, foster parents, and caretakers are welcome to apply for WIC benefits for their children under age 5.
