WIC has video appointments!

The American Rescue Plan is investing in ways to modernize WIC by expanding WIC remote services to include video appointments on the doxy.me platform.

Doxy.me is a simple and secure video platform for your WIC appointment.

Individual video appointments on Doxy allow you to engage in face-to-face dialogue with your WIC counselors, from the comfort of your home or on the go. And, no downloads are necessary!

PHFE WIC Peer Counselors and Lactation Consultants have been leading the way with video appointments. We cannot wait to connect with all of our WIC families in this way!

You will need:

  • A device that can connect to the internet, such as a smart phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone
  • A good internet connection
  • An internet browser: Chrome, Firefox, or Safari

How WIC Video Appointments Work

We will send you a text before your appointment with a link and information to join.
1. Click the link or copy and paste it into your internet browser.
2. When you see the WIC office call page, enter your name and click ‘Check In’
3. Click the purple button to use the camera and microphone on your device. You are in the waiting room. A WIC counselor will be with you soon to start the call!
