On October 14, 2022, Abbott announced a recall of certain 2 fluid-ounce bottles of Ready to Feed liquid formula products. These are NOT formulas provided by California WIC. Abbott has initiated this recall because a small percentage of products have bottle caps that may not be sealed, which could lead to spoilage issues. Spoilage could lead to gastrointestinal problems such as diarrhea or vomiting. These products were manufactured in Columbus, Ohio.

The following products are included in this recall:
- Similac 2 fl oz Pro-Total Comfort
- Similac 2 fl oz 360 Total Care
- Similac 2 fl oz 360 Total Care Sensitive
- Similac 2 fl oz Special Care 24
- Similac 2 fl oz Stage 1
- Similac 2 fl oz NeoSure
- Similac 2 fl oz Water (Sterilized)
- Pedialyte 2 fl oz Electrolyte Solution
If you have recalled formula, check the lot number located on the side or bottom of each bottle. Use Abbott’s Lot Number tool to find out if your product is included in this recall, or view the full list of included lot numbers.
If you have recalled formula, do not feed it to your baby. For questions about your child’s health, contact their healthcare provider.
