 The PHFE-WIC Dietetic Internship
Program provides a part time (24 hours per week),
one year internship. The PHFE-WIC Dietetic
Internship provides 1000 hours of supervised
practice and 200 hours of classroom instruction.
Interns spend 300 hours in food service management,
300 hours in medical nutrition therapy and 300
hours in community nutrition. 20 hours
are used for orientation and 80 hours are devoted
to elective rotations.
