Who is Eligible

WIC Services

To be eligible for the WIC Program, a person must meet categorical and
income requirements.
Women
- Pregnant women
- Breastfeeding women (up to the infant’s first birthday)
- Postpartum women up to six months after giving birth
Infants
- Up to the infant’s first birthday
Children
- Up to the child’s fifth birthday
Eligible households have a gross income at or below 185% of the federal poverty
level.
Access to WIC Services
- Medical providers and community service agencies refer their clients to the WIC
Program. The PHFE WIC Program provides medical providers with information and
referral forms to facilitate access to WIC services.
- Families may self-refer by calling the PHFE WIC Program directly at (888)
942-2229.
